Episode's summary
This Halloween, Danny Robins takes his paranormal partners-in-crime Ciaran O’Keeffe and Evelyn Hollow on an after dark excursion to allegedly one of the most haunted locations in Britain - the Tower of London. This is a place soaked in some of Britain’s bloodiest history, where Anne Boleyn was beheaded, Guy Fawkes was tortured, and the Princes in the Tower were said to have met a grisly end. There are long-running rumours of hauntings all around the building, but are they real? Danny meets current and former staff, including Chris, a retired Beefeater whose experiences in the Tower are the stuff of nightmares, and Lee, who also says he saw something supernatural in the very same room. Alden Gregory, curator of the Tower, tells Danny about the ghosts that have been spotted there over the years. But are these experiences paranormal, or a manifestation of the psychological stresses of living surrounded by so much gruesome history? Recorded on location at the Tower of London, this is a chance for the Uncanny…
