We've finally arrived at the last year of the decade, and boy do we have a great episode of television to show for it! As the decade draws nearer to its end, Annie & Courtney take time to reminisce over the most adorably demonic toy ever conjured: the Furby. 1998 also saw the revival of swing music, the emergence of the Soccer Mom, and the release of two comedies from brother/co-director duos which have each aged in very different ways.

(Let's all just agree to ignore the long hiatus this time, OK? 2025 got off to a rough start.) To kick off this episode, Annie & Courtney take a look back at the biggest American political scandal of the decade and the unfair way it was framed in both 1998 and 2004. Between the meteoric rise of grunge music and the teen angst of Beverly Hills, 90210, 1991 was the year the '90s truly became the greatest decade of all time! We've sadly lost some legends since then, but even more sad is that a certain political figure has retained his position ever since. But on the bright side, this episode introduced us to some great movies and helped us contextualize the pop culture we already loved growing up!
